When you enrol for one of our book clubs online, Scholastic Ltd will store your email address along with any other information you may provide. We may use this personally identifiable information to customise the content on isbc.scholastic.co.uk and its subsidiary sites, to such visitors` current and future needs and to process any applications or transactions undertaken by you and for internal administration and analysis. EMAIL ADDRESSES

ISBC and Scholastic UK require users to affirmatively ask to join its email lists and are able to unsubscribe by following the unsubscribe link on any email that is sent to them. Our mailing list subscribers are available to authorised personnel only and are not made available to third parties.

PARENTS

ISBC and Scholastic UK is committed to the safety and privacy of children who visit and participate in Scholastic UK websites.

In posting competition winners` names on the site it is Scholastic UK`s policy to indicate no more than a child`s first name, first initial of last name, county, age or Year Group (unless specific permission has been granted by the child’s parent or guardian). Scholastic UK encourages parents and guardians to watch over their children`s online use. Please educate your children to always ask for your permission before they provide personal information.

CHILDREN

Remember to be smart and safe online. Always ask your parent or guardian for permission before you give out any personal information. This could include your name, email address, home address, telephone number, where you go to school or any other information about yourself that would enable someone to contact you either online or offline.

From time-to-time we run online competitions for you to enter. Again remember to always ask your parent or guardian for permission before entering a competition on ISBC and the Scholastic UK website.
